Local Economy & Production

Forming part of the local economy means working with local stakeholders to find sustainable solutions.

Choosing local production contributes to the growth of the regional economy and at the same time reduces the ecological footprint of transportation.

ELO's commitments:

  1. To support the renting of technical equipment, as well as the general borrowing or buying secon-hand before buying new material or equipment;

  2. To control and reduce electricity consumption by installing appropriate tools and setting up rules for the use of electrical appliances;

  3. To aim for an integration into the local economy by promoting as many local actors as possible;

  4. To control and reduce water consumption by installing appropriate tools and implementing rules for water use;

  5. To use a maximum of reusable structures.
